Monday Morning Madness

Yes! We meet again. Or at least I hope we do or I am blog talking to myself. Anyway, before we link, and we will, I have some Sarcasmo related goodies to share.

Friend of Sarcasmo's Corner, Mark , was kind enough to share this with us. A gold star to Mark for sharing! If I have the premise right, this blog is maintained by someone who's Second Life has more going on it it than my original one. Ordinal Malaprop gave high marks to Slouching Towards Bedlam. Read the review here. Maybe someone will invite her to the Slouching Towards Bedlam game day. Whenever that may be.

And, in addition to the photo of Madame Tussad's Wax Museum in Las Vegas, Schmap has chosen two original Sarcasmo photos for inclusion in it's Philadelphia Guide. One of the German eatery, Ludwig's Garden, and one of St John the Evangelist Church.

Okay, enough glory basking for now. Here are some links.

MISS-ISS-I-PP-I- and the rest of the States too. Think you know the lay of the land? How about if it's upside down. Warning - potential major time waster.(via Busymom)

Will Not (Will TOO)- Based on actual conversations I had with Sarcasmo, I am sure this shirt would be on her wish list. She would have worn the shirt, but she would still fix your computer if you asked her to. Nicely. (via popgadget)

The Holy Grail- well, at least the rabbit. Here is a stapler with some teeth to it.(via shinyshiny)

Before I go, I feel it is my duty to call your attention to this posted at ShinyShiny by CDumas. I know Sarcasmo would have. She would, after shedding a tear for the sexist inequality being foisted upon children by corpoate America, have raised her fist in solidarity with the author. She may even have started a movement. Or written a Congress(wo)man . At the very least she would be aggravated by the whole thing. And, it involves comics.

Oh, and somebody got inked !

Monday Morning Madness

Hello gentle readers. The Corner has much to share with you this Monday Morning,

Sarcasmo did more than cover this Craigslist ad for the Phillyist. She answered it. And so began her career as a scream queen*. Today the trailer for The Unholy Sideshow can be seen here. I warn you, it is not for the feint of heart, or the shaky of stomach. The film will be entered in film festivals, and available for sale come this fall.

And in more movie news, friend of Sarcasmo's Corner, Tom Boutell, wrote, edited and filmed a 5 minute movie in 48 hours. Tom, with help from friends and family raised $500 for Doctors Without Borders. You can view the movie, titled 9 More Minutes here. And, you can still donate here. When you are viewing the film, take note. The line "A girl needs her sleep. I can't be expected to conquer the world with bleary eyes.", is a direct Sarcasmo quote.

In her persona as world traveling still photographer,,Sarcasmo snapped a photo of Madame Tussard's wax museum in Las Vegas. It has been picked up by Scmapps and she has the photo credit. Pretty cool, huh?

On Sarcasmo's birthday in June, family and friends celebrated her by gathering in Rittenhouse Square and dedicating the garden area near the frog statute in her honor. The latest issue of the Friends of Rittenhouse newsletter includes this article penned (well, typed) byher sister, Sarcasmo Jr.

I know, I know, enough about us. Get to the reason you stopped by. Without further ado ( were we ado-ing?) I give you, the links.

Judge This Book by it's Cover- and you may think I am reading War and Peace, when I am really doing Sudoku.(via Phillyist)

Just How Manipulative Do You Have to Be - to make apprentice.

This Solves That Problem - You know how you put out that little dish of fancy soap that you really don't want your guests to use? Guarnteed, they won't touch this!(via Popgadget)

*both Vis Major and myself think that you catch a glimpse of Sarcasmo at 1 minute 38 seconds into the trailer. It is dark and moves quickly.
