Monday Morning Madness-The Christmas Eve Edition

Sarcasmo's Corner is full of holiday cheer. We wish all of our co-celebrators a very merry. And to those who are not, happy Monday. Enjoy the movies and the Chinese food.*

As a service to all you people who woke up this morning and said "holy crap it's Christmas Eve and i haven't done any shopping" we are offering the following links. All of which would make suitable gifts for loved ones. For those of you not shopping, its just a Monday post.

Here we go.

Wishing Fish- offers a chance to score this piece of Sarcasmo's childhood. She actually got one again as an adult. It also reminds me that I have been lax in visiting Wishing Fish. How did that happen?

Art for Art's Sake- is this surreal enough for you? Need more action? Try these.

Hoop it Up- Tailspin Hoops has a hoop for every personality on your gift list. Our personal favorite is the SuperStar, named for our own Sarcasmo. For each SuperStar sold, Tailspin Hoops will donate $15 of the purchase price to the Star C. Foster Memorial Fund.

I hope that helps all you last minute shoppers. For the rest of us, I tried to find an Original Sarcasmo that was posted on a December 24. Instead I found this one from December 23, 2003. In true Sarcasmo fashion, it has nothing to do with the holiday season. It's about Pirates!

Enjoy!

*In past years some of Sarcasmo's friends would come by for Christmas Eve, even though it was not their holiday. They said it was our house, or Chinese food and the movies as they were the only places open on Christmas Eve. It became a holiday tradition.

Sarasmo's Corner wishes to thank everyone for the kind comments and emails we have received this past week. They mean a lot to us. As always, Sarcasmo's Corner is hoping you will participate in this blog by sending links Sarcasmo would have posted, stories, commentary, or whatever you feel appropriate to slf1954@verizon.net

Original Sarcasmo

Once, way back in November I had this wonderful vision of posting Christmasy themed Original Sarcasmos for the twelve days of Christmas. Which to the best of my knowledge are the twelve days preceeding Christmas Day. That may be totally wrong, but that's the way it was gonna go. Back in November. Fast forward to now. And I mean that literally. However did it get to be December 17th already? Still the seven days of Christmas are better than none. (Seven days! how can there only be seven days ti, Christmas ?)

You would be amazed to discover how many of Sarcasmo's December posts had absolutely nothing to do with Christmas. Well, maybe you wouldn't.

This post originally appeared on December 8, 2005. The Grinch gets a mention near the end. That counts as a Christmas post in my book. Enjoy!

Monday Morning Madness

Sarcasmo's Corner gives a heartfelt thank you to all the friends who have stuck with us this past year. I know it has been nowhere near the same. But it has been a comfort to know that you care enough to stop by now and again, and keep her blog an active and inter-active site. If you have a moment to stop and think of her today, and maybe raise a Starbucks in her honor, that would be nice.

And now to the linkage.

The Battle Rages On: Pirate Vs. Ninja. These would definitely have been on Sarcasmo's wish list. (via Amy)

In Case a Rock Band Breaks Out: You can be ready (via popgadget)

You Know You've Been Heckled: When the mistletoe insults you. (via ShinyShiny)

How I Spent Last Christmas: Here is a link to an original Sarcasmo from last Christmas Season. Enjoy
